Meet Our Mentors

Louis Kim

Founder & Director

 

Graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and having experienced teacher-centered classroom education in South Korea, Louis wanted to provide more hands-on project-based learning experience to international students in order to promote better communication and problem-solving skills, leadership experience, and teamwork, which are key factors to succeed in any fields. Louis is passionate about connecting students with role models and mentors to provide motivation and guidance in order help them succeed in life.    

Edward Choi

Mentor

 

Graduated from University of California, Los Angeles, Edward is taking part in creating the most sustainable environment for students to maximize learning in exploration of their journey. He helps students establish healthy lifestyle habits, promotes cultural exchange between students and American native instructors, and provides academic and study-abroad advises.

Alexander Kim, D.M.D

Mentor

 

Graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, Dr. Kim finished his General Practice Residency at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, one of the most prominent U.S. military medical centers in the United States. Dr. Kim is excited to share his unique footsteps from graduating Kang-Seo high school in South-Korea to moving to the U.S. and serving as a Naval Dental Officer on the Aircraft Carrier. He provides invaluable mentoring to students who are interested in pursuing careers as healthcare professional.

Minha Kim, PharmD, BCPS

Mentor

 

Graduated from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy, Dr. Kim finished her first year Postgraduate Year Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Kim is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and also a teaching certified clinical pharmacist who enjoys providing higher education for the patients and the students. Dr. Kim’s dynamic wide range of clinical experiences and her passion for teaching demonstrates that her mentoring would be second to none for any students who are interested in health care industry.  

Jongwoo Lee

Mentor

 

Jongwoo Lee is currently a PhD Candidate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Department of Mechanical Engineering. Jongwoo brings over 10 years of experience mentoring and inspiring students in South Korea. He taught in numerous academic and careers development camps and forums.

Our team designs a cross-cultural project that lead international students with eager and enthusiasm to search for job opportunities and learn their interest and potential. Our mission is to promote team-working, problem solving, and communication skills. With our program, students learn to work with teams tackling variety of real-world project that is innovative and human-centered.
